Introduced at World Goth Fair, Spyralle’s Old Lace tea gowns are just the thing for dinner in Gotham or tea at the Addams mansion. Life circumstances kept me away from the internet for most of the event, but it was as fabulous as usual – amazing setting and music (I lurked when I could). I’m really getting to enjoy being spooky!
The gown comes in two versions of each color, each with an optional rose to pin on the cummerbund, trailing streamers of dark chiffon. So far there are four colors from the dark side.
The spiderweb lace is a Don Quixote fractal, rendered in different colors. I have used different variations of this fractal in several recent designs. The two versions of each color for Old Lace were made by cycling or reversing the gradient in the generated fractal images. They are not recolored in Photoshop. Of course, I had to make a special color for Arsenic!
Arsenic is actually a sort of “dark yellow,” which came out green when combined in the gradient with black, but … I liked it.
Old Lace will be back at Spyralle in the next day or so, very likely with additional colors.
